I can see what you're thinking, but the answer is no.

Exercising after a meal will not CAUSE a kidney stone, but being dehydrated, either through reduced fluid intake or strenuous exercise WITHOUT adequate fluid replacement increases your risk of getting kidney stones.

Kidney stones are caused by build-up of minerals in your kidney (calcium, oxalate, or phosphate). Some things that can lead to kidney stones are:

1. Having a disease called Gout.
2. Having high calcium levels in your urine (hypercalciuria).
3. People with bowel disease.
4. Some medications (diruetics, calcium antacids)
5. White males between the age of 40-70 are more at risk.

No, but it can cause other kinds of discomfort. For instance, I can't eat a heavy meal then go for a hike without getting a really nasty stich in my side. It might be compared to people being advised to wait half an hour or so after eating before going swimming.
