why am i sooooo picky when it comes to having a boyfriend? i meet some of the nicest guys around..but i always find something wrong or something to pick on? i guess i have high priorites?? how can i overcome being so picky? HELP

You can't overcome it unless you choose to ignore their faults. You should find someone you like and get to know them, no one is perfect and we all have are annoying habits but you might find that you get to like the guy so much you might not even notice them.

The trick is to NEVER have a picture of Mr. Right inside your mind....as soon as you stop making lists about the qualities that your boyfriend must have, you will find that there are truly sooooo many fish in the sea!!
I used to be like you..'he must like the same music i do' etc etc.. i even went to the extremities of saying that my boyfriend MUST have curly hair and green eyes!!! But as soon as i stopped having lists, i met so many other great guys
And remember that priorities and 'pickiness' are two very different things!

Don't stop being picky!!! I was picky and none of my relationships ever lasted longer than 6 months and then I met my husband and he had all the qualities I was looking for. Of course we go through our stumbles, but he is still perfect for me and I never compromised. Don't worry so much! Keep your standards - the right guy will come along and he will be all that you wanted and more and you never had to compromise!

Pretty soon your going to be 28 with no prospects and you wont care that he wears Pleated kahkies or blows his nose to hare. As long as he wants to take care of you and isn't an Ahole. This happens to alot of women you aren't the only one. Don't beat your self up if thou, I'm sure you woulndn't mind it if a guy dumped you for a reason you would pass some one up for you know. Just keep it all in perspective.

If you are picking out the things that you don't like in a boyfriend already you have issues within yourself......you need to overcome that PHOBIA of pettiness........them being nice has nothing to do with it if they don't have the personality or the characteristics then you have a problem...
