Is the reason that the church has been overly ineffective lately because of the witchcraft we've allowed to come into it? I'm not talking casting spells over people, but more like manipulations among leaders, or coersing leadership to make bad decisions. And let's no rule out false prophets speaking "truth" into peoples lives. Uneducated or new Christians are easily influenced by people with power, and therefore swayed into making bad life decisions on what a "prophet" has told them. I've seen this happen, how about you?

People are people, no matter the religion, or political group, or job role. Some are good, some are bad. No organization is immune, or can be, as long as people are involved.

Various forms of so-called "christian" denominations practice various forms or witchcraft or other evils. The chief among these are: The Roman Catholic Church; The Pentocostals; The Charismatics; The Holy Rollers; The Mormons...which are not "Christian" by any means. The Seventh-Day Adventists; The Jehovahs Witnesses...which again, are NOT "Christian". The Ecumenical Churches; The World Counsil of Churches; The Southern Baptist (I am a "Baptist"...and I'm telling you that the Southern Baptist are as far away from the Truth as one can possibly get. I prefer just to call myself a "Bible-believing Christian" because the modern Baptists have ruined that good name. Televagelists are the worst ever...and very FEW Christian radio Evangelists speak the Truth either. In this day and age...just as the Bible has foretold, it's VERY hard to find a good, fundamental Bible-teaching, Bible-preaching assembly of Believers. The best thing that YOU can do as a start, is to simply READ the Bible for youself in a private room, and ask Christ to lead you to the Truth and protect you from deception. God's Word is Truth...and THOUGH the Bible, God Himself will REVEAL HIMSELF to you in a very PERSONAL WAY. Below is my e-mail address if you would like further assistance.

Since when do churches allow anything remotely pagan into their sanctuaries? I don't know what kind of churches you are familiar with, but the ones I know are pretty set against their ways when it comes to stuff like witchcraft and the like.

Witchcraft or Wicca (or whatever tradition a person follows) is a peaceful way of life. "An it harm none, do what thy will" is the basic rede of all Wiccans. Influencing others to do something out of character falls under that and would be a bad thing that a Wiccan or witch just would not do.

Witchcraft is not an evil, devil-infused thing practiced by naked women dancing with demons on a full moon night. *Witchcraft is the creation of positive personal and global change through the natural energies found in each of us and in the Earth. It is a religion based on harmony with Nature Forces and all aspects of the Divinity.* It is a way of life for thousands upon thousand of people who do not wish harm on a living soul.

I don't know what has happened in your life, but you should try and be a little more educated and open-minded about a subject before you try and talk against it.

:You obviously have no clue what witchcraft is about. Do some reading. The church was founded on many "witchcraft" ideas. The church has been corrupt since the beginning. That was all the result of man and his greed for power and control.

First off...what you're talking about is not witchcraft. It's corruption plain and simple. Second....leadership requires a great deal of responsibility and decision making ability. Not every one can handle it and some are just not good decision makers to begin with. And there will always be those week-minded individuals who follow them because they cannot make decisions for themselves.

I refuse to be a part of the sheeple race.

That's a good point.Ive seen things like that and it really turns people off.Ive also seen a lot of favoritism where they let friends or people that are well off get into leadership positions and they either have no calling to be ministers or are very immature believers

You are correct that uneducated and new Christians are easily influenced, etc...

As for the witchcraft question, I think you are ascribing a simple truth (people are sheep...) to something that doesn't exist (witchcraft).

Dumb people are easily led.

The church is largely innefective now because it no longer has control over the military. The only reason it succeeded in the past was because people were forced to accept it.

It's not witchcraft. It is a fulfillment of what Paul said. There will come a time when people will not hold on to sound doctrine but will seek teachers who will tickle their ears. (2Tim 4:3,4)
