Dude, I'm a lifelong pacifist with hundreds of peace marches behind me, many hostile, including Iraq from the first week it looked like we'd go there.
You are so, so WRONG!
It's not the soldiers. It's never the soldiers. It's the Goons who send them there. Yes, we should have kept looking for Isama's @$$. Bush and his crew lied to us, and they knew they were lying when they did it. That's all true and so, so much more.
But look into that young man's face. He may not be here right now. He may be gone forever, so that people like you and me can sit here and whine and *****. His friends may be dead with him. Or maybe he's being tortured right now. At any rate, you can bet your soft @$$ and mine are a helluva lot more comfortable than his is right now. And we can go home and eat supper with our families tonight, and make love to our girlfriends. Or eat a steak or a Big Mac.
That young man can't do any of those things right now. He can't do them tomorrow, or next month, or maybe next year... Maybe never again.
He is not the problem. Lord knows, he is not the problem.
And I pray night and day for each and every one of them. And I'll even pray for you. Right now.

I recall four planes crashing on September 11th that was caused by terrorist, so I feel pretty confidant that I have seen a real terrorist.
