No I don't think they should be allowed to smoke anywhere public. If I sat there and farted excessively in a room next to some people eating I would be asked to leave. Farts aren't really dangerous, but cigarette smoke is.
Even smoking places outside can be a pain. At our local mall you have to walk through people standing outside smoking to get into the mall. If it is cold outside the stand in the foyer and smoke. Nobody makes me stand at the tailpipe of a diesel truck and snort the fumes I shouldn't have to breathe cigarettes when trying to walk through a door.
Normally I don't care what people do with themselves. This would be the exception. It is a nasty habit and I understand that it is addictive. But hey I like picking my nose and you don't see me smearing boogers on people now do you?

I think non-smokers deserve clean air around them. When I go into a casino to play slots, I always go were there is no one smoking. It really makes me mad when a smoker sits down next to me and lights up ... hey, I was here first, so ask me if I mind.

Smoking is a dirty habit that is offensive to most people. A smokers clothes, hair, house, car, etc. all stink. People that smoke around babies and children should have the cigarettes knocked out of their hands.

Smokers should have the courtesy to not smoke around non-smokers in public places. Yes, smoking should be restricted in certain areas. Lots of people have allergies from smoke and can't get away from it when people smoke in public.

first, i'm a smoker. I do feel smoking should be restricted in certin areas. However, it is NOT illeagle yet. therefore I should be able to smoke outside as long as im not blowing smoke in someones face. It's a respect thing. The goverment doesn't want to make it illeagle because of the loss of refenue lots of money would be lost. And who do you think would have to make up all that lost money? NON SMOKING TAX PAYERS. SO LET US SMOKE.

No, the laws are just fine. Smoking kills people. My daughter has asthma, and we can't eat in restaurants where we have to walk through the bar if people are smoking because it will trigger an attack.

Smokers can smoke outside. Or in their own homes. But not inside public buildings.

I think it should be restricted step by step..we can prohibit a person who have addicted smoking for a decades and suddenly wan him to smoke...he will die...
By the way, we can prohibited his regular cigarette consumed,,for example if he always smoke 7 cigs aday, we can help him reduce to 3 cigs, and we can consult him

Smokers should smoke in a cubicle where the second-hand smoke won't be inhaled by non-smokers.
