Well, my dad wanted a pic of me w/ my grandma's tombstone, but I declined, because it just didn't feel right. His reasoning for the pics was that he said that you should treat the deceased just like they're still alive.

No, I don't think a nice respectful picture of a tombstone would upset anyone, living or dead. A friend or relative of your Grandma who couldn't go to the cemetery in person might like to see the picture, for example.

Nah, I don't think it's disrespectful... It's not like you're stomping on all the graves having a party. It's a simple picture, a memory. I doubt the deceased would be offended, don't worry.

I don't think so. I have pictures of my grandparents headstones with myself and my brother and sister standing behind them. It's just another way to remember someone.

Not if the grave is that of an ancestor of yours, or of a celebrity you admire very much.
