"You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help?"

Because that book which you speak of, holds the answers to all of life's problems, and eternal life.
And I will pray that God takes the scales off your eyes, so you too can see the truth.

For the life of me, I don't know why it bothers atheists so much when someone says that he/she will pray for them.
After all, if the atheists are so convinced that God doesn't exist, they shouldn't be bothered by others' prayers for them, right? If they are so convinced that there's no God, then they should conclude that our prayers for them are just a waste of time.
Our time, that is, not theirs. So what's it to them? What difference does it make?

Is there a problem with praying for an atheist, along with praying for the rest of the world to be saved?
I don't see how it could hurt an atheist, to pray for him Guy.

The reason they say we need help is because we don't have the boundless joy in our hearts that they do, knowing that Zeus loves them and so on and so forth.
And to be quite honest, they're right.
But I prefer sanity, myself. I've seen plenty of happy people in insane asylums, as well. That doesn't mean I want to be one of them.

It's a bad metaphor given the subject, but you're preaching to the choir here.
For me, religion is a mental illness born of fear and isolation. The sooner we can rid ourselves of it the better.

because they(you ) believe in a book that says we originated from rocks and slime, had its orgins in prejudiced thinking against other races and continues to need to change itself every few years to keep up with current events,
In other words you need help.

I think it is pretty sad that you get your kicks from bashing God, Jesus, the bible ...etc. Surely you have something better to do than that. One day you will see. God bless!!!!!!!!!!
