If you mean alcohol and liquor, then yes - it's not a chronic thing, but as you drink the alcohol slows down your body and therefore leads to a lot of sitting down, rather than playing basketball or running marathons.

Yes, when you take a drink whether its a beer/wine/brandy, it makes your body slower and that's because alcohol flows into the bloodstream and affects all the body organs. Once it reaches the brain it depresses the brain and slows down its ability to control the body and the mind.
Alcohol acts like a sedative and slows down muscle coordination, reflexes, movement, and speech. If an individual drinks too much alcohol, his or her breathing or heart rate can reach dangerously low levels or even stop.

If you think water, it is the opposite, if you don't drink you'll get inactive. If it is alcohol, it is obvious..

yup but the cause is when you drink your body has to work a lot to metabolize it and it takes lot of energy ..thats why we feel inactive.. as our body tries to conserve the energy for it. that's it
your metabolic rate gets dowe and you feel lethargic..
