No it will take a while to rebuild your credit rating sorry. My advice to you is just to keep on top of any debts & agreements you may already have, keep in contact with your creditors offering them what you can afford. Once you have started to improve your score apply for a mail order catalogue just to build your credit score up. Finally I will advise that credit is not everything it's better to know what you have & don't overstretch yourself. Hope you acheive what you want.

I would recommend this book.

Put Your Debt on a Diet: A Step-by-Step Guide to Financial Fitness (Paperback)
by Stanley J. Kershman

You could see if it is in your local library. This book can help you to reduce your debt and will even give you examples of how to work with creditors to reduce interest payments, etc.

Good luck.

Why do you want credit ?
Anybody that lends you money will charge you a premium interest rate because of your credit history.
Accept the fact that you are living a cash-only lifestyle and simply save up for what you want to buy.

No, accept for paying your bills on time. Any company that say they can wipe ccj's off your record and put your credit history right, are telling lies. I know someone who paid £75 for this. Their fraudsters.
