Maybe you could get into sales for a high tech electronics developer or distributor. You could sell yourself as having the knowledge of the products that will help the consumer and the experience working with people in a team environment. This could transfer well into sales.
Then you might be able to travel, eat lunches on the company dollar, etc.

Try something totally different.
With the organisational and analytical skills that you obviously possess for your present job you'll find that most alternatives are relatively easy and stress free.
I left electrical engineering and bought a bed and breakfast establishment.
Not so much money but very relaxed.

Become a real estate agent. All you need to do is pass a test. You can make good money.
You could become a manager or a salemen for an electronics company.

If you still have an interest in problem solving, you might try tutoring. There are on-line companies looking for qualified physics tutors - just enter physics tutor into a search engine.
If you want something entirely different, perhaps you might pursue something you love doing. Immerse yourself in a favourite hobby and turn it into a full time or part time venture.

Try the eletrical construction industry. Control systems and SCADA are the growing fields and they need intergraters, project managers, field tech supports, system field reps.
These fields will still utilize your past experiece but give you a total different working environment.
