Check 5 locations. door jam, glove box, under the hood where the engine specs are, on the dash, on the very front of the dash (drivers side). Or even the gaas cap What is a XF Falcon?

If you have the VIN # just go the carfax.com or kelly blue book website. You may even be able to go to vehix.com and get the info you're looking for.

You can get a package from the MTO. Technically the owner of the car is supposed to have this when it's being sold but some people don't bother.

You can buy these reports at the DMV for a pretty small charge. You might be able to do it online, but I would trust the information more if it came right from the source.
