I want to be able to choose a foreign airport and find out which airports in UK flights leave from and which flight companys service that route.

Go to the airport website. You should be able to pick destinations and it will tell you what routes go to those locations.

It has a 'pick your destination' option which then leads to a list of UK airports, which is better than most websites.
Many of the individual airlines have full lists of their flight departures/destinations.

do an airline search by name...and then go to their website...
