This si more of a dating question. I read a lot of books on this and ahve sceen it myself in real life . Hell its happened to me before. A guy treats a woman like a woman should be treated, but she never wants to see him again or date him. No Im not a shy "nice guy" but I do believe in being yourself and I cant do teh PUA pick up artist stuff(though it does work).. I dont know maybe im venting, but is there ever a time when ust being a gentleman is a good thing for a guy to do for a woman..Especially if he was raised that way?

I know this may sound corny to you but its always best to be yourself. If you fake being something your not then how do you expect to know if they like you for you or what they think you are? I know there are lots of women out there that would LOVE to find a nice guy. I believe your just finding the wrong women. NIce guys are a rare breed and your definelty gonna find a woman worthy of you give it time and try looking elsewhere.

Hey I know how you feel... I've learnt you just got to be yourself, to treat a person or woman the way they should be treated, if they don't prefer it that way, then its not your fault! I guess woman have become so tiresome of men and the elusive "perfect guy" that most of them think that a guy who's respectable and gentlemen-like is putting on a false front. Its their loss.
Generally speaking, we should all be able to treat people, be it woman or man, as good as a human being should be treated. So kudos to you! And hang in there!

Do not change one bit!! Us women can say the exact same thing about men. What it comes down to is that sometimes people just suck monkey butts and don't appreciate what's right in front of their faces. Keep on trying and being yourself, eventually your perfect match will show up. Be prepared to "kiss a lot of frogs" along the way. It's just how life works, and what makes us stronger.

While stationed on board a U.S. Navy ship, there was a 1st Class Petty Officer who was what's called a "Bosun's Mate" ( I think that’s right) who really (for some strange reason) hated women. He hated the fact that our living quarters where above his, he hated that we had to live on the same ship as he, he even hated when one of us stood next to him in the chow line because he didn't want to hear "a bunch of hens" as he called us. Well, he'd made several comments pertaining to women that at the time I didn't know I could have reported him for. But one time a shipmate of mine turned to him and asked "Man, you really hate females, why is that?" And his face frowned up, the corners of his mouth turned upwards, and with all the hate in the world he respond "Because B!tches don't belong on a F*cking ship!" I was floored, and I wanted to curse him out so bad, but I was just a little Seaman so I couldn't say much to him. But If I would have known then what I know now, I would have reported him.

Its good when you want to settle down or have long term relationships. Apart frmo that if only looking for a quick sting you need to be a player type or you wont get no skinz.
