Saving money isn't that hard. Just don't spend it.
Stop spending money on something you regularly spend it on and set that aside for travel: cigarettes, booze, coffee, fast food. There's probably something.

If you are looking for cheap flights or hotels in Atlanta, try the travel sites like Travelocity or Orbitz.

Where are you from and how are you traveling? I tend to find driving the cheapest and best weighted against rail and airtravel considering cost. However for hotel stay, I would check on www.priceline.com, www.orbitz.com, and www.hotels.com.
