You are way too young for diet pills or slimfast, unless you are under doctors orders.

Try this instead: You change your lifestyle.

You drink lots of water, walk an hour every day except 1 then do stretching and upper body toning.

No sugar
No sodas
No candy
No chips
No potatoes
No pasta
No pizza
no carrots
no corn
no bread
no rice
no burgers
no fried foods

Good Luck

The focus on weight isnt productive. It stresses you (which reduces the effectiveness of diet and exercise) and its not the best focus.

Muscle is 4 times as dense as fat. If you want to have a much lower volume and weigh the same, then convert it to muscle. Most people when they start exercising actually gain weight, because they are building muscle and losing fat.

Get a sustainable diet, something that includes multivitamins, emphasizes green leafy vegetables. Make it well rounded. Have realistic portion sizes. A healthier diet is the South Beach diet, but talk to a dietician.

I would recommed that instead of losing weight you set a goal like running a half-marathon. Its work, but my best friend lost like three pants sizes by doing it. There are organizations like "Team In Training" that provide great encouragement, a reasonable schedule, and accountability. You start out walking, and work your way up. Like any program it works if you work it. Team in training also helps fund cancer research, so you are helping a good cause.

- Dont focus on the weight number because its misleading. Focus on being healthy.
- If you want to get healthy prepare for and run a marathon, possibly under the guidance of an organization like "Team In Training".
- If you are going to implement a real diet at 13 then first speak to a qualified medical professional. The wrong decisions now can really hurt you later.
