I had a very excellent tom-cat we named 'Mouser Tom' because he was such an excellent mouse catcher! Of course we called him "Mouser", or "Mouse" for short. He's in cat heaven now, but he was a dandy in his time, and everyone liked the name.

If you think it suits your cats personality then its a great name!! I named my cat Baby Wolf coz she looks and act like a wolf.
Some dog owner name their canine friends Tiger. Any name is good as long as it will suit the animals personality.

I had a cat named "Dog" and a dog named "Cat". I didn't
have them at the same time though.
