You pray and fast and keep going in spite of the circumstances and God comes through in the last minute to make you know its him doing it and not you. The more you go through the more you know you can depend on God more than yourself. Its a exciting way to live!
I have been doing it for 15 years and God has never let me down

Mainly that there's a reason for or a lesson to be learned from whatever's happening, even though I might not know at the moment what that lesson is.

It might be that I had done something and this was the Return (I get that when I give back snippy/b*tchy replies on Yahoo message boards - the momentary sense of "TAKE THAT!" satisfaction isn't really worth the negative return with regards to my self-respect, and all it really does is invites more attacks against me).

It might be something that has to happen in order to make way for something else down the road - "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end" - and even though I might not like the current events, I have to have faith that it's a question of balance over the long haul.

First of its no fun and I hope life improves for you.

1. I ask what is going right? I’ve been through some pretty dark times but if I stop and think about it I always have a lot to be thankful for. So start a list of things you are grateful for.

2. I sit down a do some self examination. I look hard at my life and ask myself, “Is the mess I’m in one of my own making? Have I been here before? Is this some sort of pattern that I keep inflicting on myself?” If I answer yes to these questions I try to figure out what I need to change so as not to end up in the mess again.

3. I ask for help. I turn to my friends and family and ask for help. I don’t whine about my situation but I’ll talk to others. If I share what’s going on other people often see things that I’m missing.

4. I get busy. If I keep my mind, spirit and body busy I have less time to feel sorry for myself.

5. I pray to my deity that I’ll have the clarity to understand the mess I’m in and then to have to wisdom to get out of the mess. I then pray for the energy to make the changes I need to change.

6. I get off my butt and start working the change. Even if I start off in the wrong direction I’m still moving and it is easier to turn a moving ship then one that is standing still.

It is difficult but possible. The trouble when everything goes wrong is that the circumstances program us to believe more in the negative than the positive. When our mind and emotion give in to this false programming, the fallacy appears to be real. Then, doubt and fear begin to seize us, and we begin to use the power of our mind and emotion against us--self destruction. In this situation, what we ask in prayers will not come because we doubt our own prayer. In other words, we doubt our belief and believe in our doubt. As the saying goes, he who has will be given more, and he who has not will be taken away from him even the little that he has. By law of polarity, however, this can be reversed even in the worst situation. Practice makes perfect.

I re-evaluated the situation. I kept praying and going to church and after several weeks things began to change. But not only that I was much tougher and stronger coming out of the serious situations by not giving up. it was hard going through, but it makes all the other tests and trials easy. Look at what is going on, make any necessary changes, pray to God for direction and discernment and hold on to Him, you will make it through.

I keep trusting in God. The bible says," that He works everything together for the good," and I know that is true. I have gone through some really bad things, cancer and the near death of a grandson so I know God can bring you out triumphant on the other side. He can bring joy inspite of your circumstances.

I press into God, pray without ceasing(1 Thessalonians 5:17), and remind myself that He is in control of everything. I surrender everything in my life to Him.

You may think its all going wrong, but remember that gold is purified under intense heat. the impurities in gold floats under intense fire and after that, we are so happy to wear it and be proud. Faith is best in action under "heat," and my Jesus is ever understanding, loving and near to cushion our challenges if we have faith enough to trust Him.

The Beatitudes are all about karma. I know as a Reincarnationist that all experiences are blessings -- some are disguised as curses -- but all experiences are opportunities to learn.
