I was asking because he went to his and didn't invite me to his, so I was wondering if I should feel hurt (because I do) but was wondering if this was irrational for me to think like this?

It depends how you feel about them, if you really like them then sure why not. There really is no reason to not bring them.

Well the real question is why not? Would you rather go solo? Or even worse, with somebody from high school? No way, he is obviously cool enough for you to hang out with for 6 months so just invite him to the party and have a good time.

If you are dating him, then what's the problem? None as far as I can see unless you are ashamed of your 6 months relationship. Invite him and if he wants to go then take him.

If you have agreed to be "exclusive," then of course. If not, you might meet someone who is vastly more attractive than 10 years ago and be very sorry you brought a date.

Sure, bring him/her along! YOur classmates want to know what you've been doing, and your date is part of your life at the moment.

Ask him if he would like to go. If he says yes, do it.
