So I'm going out on a first date with this guy Friday night. He wants me to pick what we do. But being a sensible woman going out with a guy I barely know, I want to figure out something public and low pressure. Public to protect myself. Low pressure so if we don't click, we can say we had a few laughs and leave it at that. One idea I had was to go to Pizza Putt, a pizza restaurant with an indoor mini-golf course. You know, something a little silly but a good environment to talk and get to know someone better.
Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks all!

I think a nice but not fancy restaurant is a good bet cuz you wouldn't have to worry about dressing to formal and you could talk over dinner to feel out the type of guy he is.

a low pressure option is just going out for drinks or dinner. plain and simple and provides a good place to just talk and get to know each other. check out something like http://www.menuserve.com to find someplace in your area.
