Cured dried sausages loose moisture during the process so they are actually made out of more meat than they end up being. It's a bit misleading but parma ham, for example may say on the packet - made from 130g of pork per 100g of product.
108% is quite low so I imagine there were a fair few other ingredients in there, right?

A typo error on the label?
I understand giving 110% of your effort, and 120% the RDA daily supply of some vitamin in a juice, but 108% pork in a product????
This is weird. Why don't you look up the company website if you had the package/producer where you saw this nutrition info and write to the customer service division and ask them about the labeled amt. They probably didn't notice it themselves....or they will give you the answer.....come back and tell us what it was/is....Thanks....

Over proof pork!?
Peparami its a bit of an animal, but which bit?
Am I odd in that I like to chew the plastic wrap afterwards as it seems to have all the flavour in it?
I love peparami of all kinds, apart from that one in the bread
which is crap!
Oh yeah 108% pork, I don't have a clue sorry, I would guess is some kind of joke?

The weight of the raw meat going into Peperami exceeds the weight of the end product because the recipe loses moisture, and therefore loses weight, during the fermentation, drying and smoking process.
Ew peperami, lips & a*seholes
God I sound boring!!!

After injesting it, 8% of the total weight comes flying into the room and get's absorbed into your body.
Either that or it had 8% extra than it usually did
or it said 10.8%, which'd be pretty worrying in itself, because what makes up the 89.2% you're missing?

Well obviously its a case of this little piggy went there, that little piggy went there and the other 106 little piggies went down like the good little piggies they should and you go wee wee wee wee wee all the way home.
Or maybe its all of the above (As in answers)
Or none.
I'm feeling a little dehydrated myself now, must dash...

I think its because the pork is processed. They've condensed down 108g of pork into 100g.

Use your common sense. 8 may look like 0. It was probably an ink error or a typo.
Perhaps they mean that the serving is over 1.

Because of all the stuff in it that you wouldn't normally consider to be "pork"... skin, testicles, hooves, stomach lining, etc, etc.
Enjoy!

They made it out of one entire pig and then added 8% of another pig.
