~Giant Triple Chocolate Cookies~

makes 12 large cookies
Allergy Note: contains macadamia nuts

(Ingredients)

3 1/2 ounces milk chocolate

3 1/2 ounces white chocolate

11 ounces bittersweet chocolate
(minimum 70% cocoa solids)

3 1/2 ounces/7 tablespoons sweet butter

at room temperature, diced

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

5 ounces/ 3/4 cup light brown sugar

5 ounces/1 3/4 cups self-rising flour

3 1/2 ounces/ scant 1 cup macadamia
nut halves

(Special equipment)
Baking parchment

(Preparation)

1.) Preheat oven to 350/Gas 4
Line two baking sheets with baking parchment.
Coarsely chop the milk and white chocolate and
put them in a bowl.

2.) Chop 7 ounces of the bittersweet chocolate into very large chunks, at least 3/4'' in size. Set aside.

3.) Break up the remaining bittersweet chocolate and place in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from the heat and stir in the butter, then the vanilla extract and brown sugar.

4.) Add the flour and mix gently. Add half of the bittersweet chocolate chunks, all the milk and white chocolate and the nuts and fold together.

5.) Spoon 12 mounds onto the baking sheets. Press the remaining bittersweet chocolate chunks into the top of each cookie. Bake for about 12 minutes, until just beginning to color. Cool on the baking sheets.

For a special treat, sprinkle powdered sugar over cooled cookies.

Brownie Ingredients:



2 c. sugar

1 c. flour

2/3 c. cocoa

2/3 c. vegetable oil

4 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt



Mix ingredients in large mixing bowl. Pour into a 13"x9" lightly greased pan and bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes


Vanilla Frosting Ingredients:



3 c. powdered sugar

1/4 c. shortening

1/4 c. water

2 tsp. vanilla

food coloring



Stir together the first four ingredients in a mixing bowl. To color the

frosting, add the food coloring of your choice. Spread the frosting on cooled brownies.

Buy Hershey's Dark Chocolate Brownie mix. Add 1/2 - 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips. YUM!

You can add anything like butterscotch, peanut butter, walnuts peanuts and M&M, ect...... You can even get miniasure candy like mars or snikers and put it in the center of each square before bakinging it like a surprise.........



BROWNIES

2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate squares
1/3 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup nuts, chopped

Heat oven to 350 F. Heat chocolate and shortening in 2-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly, until melted; remove from heat. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in greased pan 8x8x2 inches. Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan, 30 to 35 minutes. Cool slightly. Cut into about 2-inch squares.
Fudgy Brownies: Substitute 1/2 cup butter for the shortening.

Increase vanilla to 1 teaspoon. Decrease flour to 1/2 cup and salt to 1/4 teaspoon. Omit baking powder. Spread in greased square pan, 9x9x2 inches or oblong baking dish, 12x7 1/2x2 inches. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.

(9x13 bake for 30-35 minutes).

Serving Size: 12.

Kahlúa® Brownies
½ cup butter
3 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 ½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ cup all purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup Kahlúa®

Heat oven to 350ƒ F (180ƒ C)
Grease an 8 X 8 inch cake pan.
Mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt, and set aside.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate, stirring frequently until smooth.
Remove the saucepan from heat, and let cool.
Beat eggs and sugar until light. Mix in cooled chocolate mixture and Kahlúa® flour mixture. Spread in the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Cool slightly, then brush the top with about 1-2 tablespoons of Kahlúa®.
Cut into squares.


Kahlúa® Chocolate Cake
3 eggs, separated
¾ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ½ teaspoon, baking soda
¾ cup strong cold coffee
¾ cup Kahlúa®
Kahlúa® Frosting

Grease & flour two 9 inch cake pans.
Preheat oven to 350† F.

Beat egg whites until frothy; then beat in sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with coffee and Kahlúa®: blend well. Fold egg whites into batter. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake 30-35 minutes, or until done. Cool 10 minutes. Invert on wire rack; remove pans. Cool before frosting. Serves 10-12

Kahlúa® Frosting:
In large bowl, cream 6 tablespoons. butter and 1 pound sifted powdered sugar. Add 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons Kahlúa® and 2-3 tablespoons hot coffee; beat until smooth.

I make a cholocate chip peanut butter brownie its awesome!! make your do like u would for cookies place half in a cake pan spread it out. place a layer of peanut butter on top of it then spread the rest of the dough. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. It tastes just like recees pieces smile
