I have been taking the pro-biotic drinks and pro-active spreads like Flora on a daily basis and they really do work for me.
My cholesterol levels are very low now.
I have also stopped easting red meat and rarely eat any other type of meat. My energy levels have noticeably shot up since doing this.
As always seek your doctors advice before doing anything drastic.

Eat more healthfully:
Avoid junk food and fatty snacks that are high in sat. fat. and high in cholesterol.
Eat plenty of veggies and fruits, and lots of whole-grains
Limit ice cream, whole milk dairy products, eggs, and butter.
Work on increasing your "good cholesterol" by eating a limited amount of nuts, beans, seeds.
A little bit of olive oil or vegetable oil when cooking is OK.
good luck!
