Mayweather is full of it......I think you are dead on. There are so many possibilities when it comes to Mayweather and who he should fight. He cares nothing about us (fans). He has won so much now, even when he really lost, ie Castillo, that he looks just like Roy Jones,Jr to me. Beat a bunch of nobody's, beat a declining champion, or, two, says he'll fight for the fans/ a fight we want to see, and, claims that he can't agree on terms, mony, etc, The guy is a primadonna. This is b.s.! Mayweather should fight Baldomir, Margarito, or, even Hatton. We all would pay to see these fights, but, because Mayweather is a lighter version of ROy Jones he will more likely fight a lesser opponent, but, like Jones, it will catch up to him once he decides to fight a formidable opponent.

First of all, Roy Jones Jr. has been the best boxer out there the last couple of years. He ran out of competition to fight. He fought Toney in his prime and killed him. He moved all the way up to heavyweight and won the title. Lately, age and wear and tear finally caught up with him. Comparing that chicken livered Mayweather to him is both insulting and idiotic.
Mayweather says that Antonio Margarito is not a household name and that boxing is a business. That's his lame excuse for not fighting him. He is going to fight Shane Mosley next on pay-per-view. Sorry Floyd, but I can wait to see the rebroadcast on HBO the following week.
A fight with Margarito in Las Vegas? They better move that fight to a bigger venue like the Colosseum in Los Angeles because that fight would sell out in 10 minutes. I'd pay to watch that fight on pay-per-view. Not to mention that most of Mexico would also pay to see that fight. Throw in all the other boxing fans in the world and we are talking about millions upon millions of fans that would pay to see that fight.
Pretty Boy doesn't see it that way. In Margarito, he sees a bigger, stronger, younger version of Jose Luis Castillo and we all know that Castillo was robbed when Mayweather was given the decision over him. He doesn't want a piece of Margarito because that fight might get ugly for him. Instead he'll take a spoon full of Sugar Shane.

first of all . the dude above is right jones jr didnt have anybody to fight in his division. so how did that make him such a great boxer? he fought nothing but ligt heavyweight push overs. he won a fight at heavyweight. and against who...? ruiz. give me a break. anyway to the question i think mayweather should side step the big headline fight. and take on baldimor. see that man fight gatti or juda? i dont care about his record or his age. but it seems obvious hes seemed to age pretty well?
