Yes, God shoots lightning bolts from his finger tips.
God doesn't "try" to kill people. If God wants you dead, then you will get dead.
Not necessarily with a lightning bolt. Most of the time He just gives you cancer or times it so that a truck will hit you or a bullet.
But when God is in a bad mood and the weather gets stormy, don't be fool enough to wander around in the rain mumbling about God sucking. It will be ZAP time, for sure.

God would have no reason to punish anyone in that way right now, including all the people that are saying very very wrong things on this site. They will all be judged down the road, and potentially subject to a fate far worse than a lightning bolt. The good news is, is that God is incredibly forgiving, and will still try to reveal himself to you until the day of judgement

duckphup hahah funny.
Now the best thing to do is tested for yourself, nothing better than scientific proof of something like that, Just make sure u are covered completely in rubber , that way you will be able to reattempt your experiment many times without being killed. With enough data, you can submit your research to a journal of science for publication.
Best answer for you

Well Since God is God, you wouldnt need to say it to be killed , as he would know what you think. Besides that if this had a standard convincing, theoretically proven answers to such questions, we wouldnt have atheists and agnostics.

God does not "try" to kill people. If he wants them dead they are dead. But that is not his style. He will not overpower evil. He lets evil fester so all can see evil is wrong.

No... that's Thor that does that. However, Thor does contract work for Yahweh and Jesus, so you could still be in trouble.
