doodlepol- ..but they can tar your driveway to about 5mm thick and charge you for 30mm...and when he was finished he wouldn't accept a cheque "CASH ONLY!"....oh yes..they really do pay their taxes dont they????

Gypsies or Travellers do pay their bills you know! They don't steal, yes they do have a reputation of leaving a mess behind but they are a really nice bunch of people who don't need people like you accusing them of stealing caravans.
They pay rent towards permanent sites, and have to pay for fuel for heating, cooking and for their transport etc etc.
I suggest you should visit Appleby in Cumbria to see the Horse and Gypsey Fair (its held in June each year) and meet some genuine travellers and see how they make their money to BUY caravans and not steal them off pensioners!

You div!!! has made me laugh though. The majority of true gypsies are a hard working lot, up against the bigotry of some clueless folk.
Yes there are the pikies who tend to not do alot, or just do it badly, but you cant tar a whole society with the same brush.

If it's the later - I wish they would hurry up and steal more. I am soooooooo sick of getting stuck behind the divvies driving at 15 mph when you're trying to get to/from work! Bast*rds!

Do go to the fair in Appleby. Pikeys might be scum, but they do have good drugs. Don't go near their 'women' though - they'll tear you to pieces if they sniff out you have a home rather than one step up from a tent. And the kids, oh lord the kids. Half rat half feral the lot of them.
