i think its about bloody time.
i was brought up through some of my childhood by what i considered to be my 2 uncles. they have been together since high school and are now in their 50's. best marriage Ive ever seen.
we were discussing who in our family was married one day in school and i mentioned 2 males names. i was 6.
i was shocked and quite upset when the teacher told me this was not possible. not only was it not possible but i also recognized a look of disgust.
frankly marriage is for two people in love.... nothing to do with what bits you have.
best wishes to you both. hope you have a very happy life together.
PS its just a hunch but i have a feeling that quite a few fundamentalist Christians will strongly disagree with your choice and will feel the need to voice this on yahoo answers. just wanted to to butt in before them and tell you that true and pure love between two people is a beautiful thing. maybe religion is against it but i think Jesus, god, Buddha or anyone else would be thrilled that you have love in your life. they would be proud.

Go for it! I am currently engaged to my fiance (a guy) but my last relationship which lasted a little over 5 years was with a woman. She was just a nut and it wasn't a good relationship, but either way I have always known I wanted to be married and have babies.

I think it is great that you have the opportunity to marry the one you love.
Remember this saying
FRIENDS MAKE THE BEST LOVERS!
Congrats and best wishes.

I don't really care, except for the bi part. I suggest you stay straight lesbian, or your going to hurt your partner.
Have a fantastic life!

I wouldn't take the chance of screwing up the relationship - seems marriage changes everything at least in m/f relationships and people are people - I guess my theory is "if it ain't broke, why try to fix it"
BUT good luck to both of you

My view is that any consenting adults who desire to marry, should be able to marry. There's no practical reason for it not being allowed.
Congrats and best wishes to the two of you...

I've never seen one either but good luck. If you love eachother go for it... i always say why shouldn't f/f, or m/m couples be just as fortunate to be just as miserable as m/f, f/m marriages

marriage is as the church wanted between a man in a woman, but i believe loving couples heterosexual or homosexual should be entitled to one, because marriage is a ceremony of love and not sexuality.

I have no problems with same sex marriages...however I do see a problem that can happen with YOUR particular marriage...you say you are bi...will your desires for a male interfere with your marriage...in otherwords will you "stray" from your same sex marriage (cheat on your partner)?
