For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34.
You would need a change of heart, for the Lord.
A heart in anger or defiance will cuss.

Try to think of other words to use in place of the cuss words you say...expand your vocabulary! You'll make a better impression on people who hear you clearly express your thoughts without using a single cuss word.
Good luck!

Homer Simpson had a "swear jar". Every-time that he cussed, he had to put a coin in it.
If I remember correctly, not only did it remind him not to curse, but he eventually accumulated enough money to buy a lot of beer at Moe's to celebrate.
But Homer is a cartoon character. Who knows if Marge Simpson's suggestion works for real people?

Learn new words, My father always said people curse because they don't know any other words.. I thought he was kidding but later find this to be true.. They use the same words for nouns, adjectives, and verbs.. Pick up a dictionary and learn some new words or a thasaurus and learn different words meaning the same thing, Good Luck

Practice makes perfection...... Mark Twain and the Art of Swearing
Mark Twain sagely observed that under certain trying circumstances swearing provides relief denied even to prayer. Most people, of course, unlike Mark Twain, never acquire proficiency in this field, but remain amateurs all their lives. They seek relief in trying circumstances by uttering a series of flat and commonplace vulgarities that fail to solace themselves or to inspire others. These people--that is to say, most of us--would do better to stick with prayer and leave swearing to the masters.

Just keep reminding yourself that there are people in this life that it offends..and kids doen't really need to hear it..although most of them already know every word in the book.It really makes a person look kind of bad too..when they swear all of the time.

Read the book of James in the New Testament, the tongue no man can tame. But, in Matthew Jesus commands not to. Just ask the Holy Spirit to sanctifie you and he will work in you, and catch yourself whenever you do.
