Remember, eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I am presently a weasel with a pilot's license.

That makes me an "at risk" member of society and I can apply for financial aide from the taxpayers as a previously unprotected group.

A winged weasel. Weasels are so lithe and cunning they have a verb named after them! And they scamper. I like to scamper. But I also like to fly - in my dreams, I just run very hard and go upwards, but it's hard work because I have to keep running. Therefore I would like a pair of wings. There is no danger of birdstrike (or rather, engine-suck) since I have the aforementioned cunning and the about-to-be-mentioned sharp eyes. Less famous than the "eagle eyes", simply because weasels let the bird take the credit, since they already won their own synonym for cunning.

A weasel, anytime. Weasels may not do anything but eat, sleep and make little weasels, but they don't get sucked into jet engines, either.

No, but they can get eaten by eagles. I'd rather be an eagle and see the Earth spread out beneath me as I soar.

Weasels can end up going round and round, on tyre treads
I would thus, prefer to be the Eagle.

Cute! Convincing argument for all of the weasels out there. Also yet another reason for why one should never tease a weasel.
