Not like you met each other in a hookup chatroom or anything. Like a friend of a friend's relative. And they are really decent and trustworthy, seems like you've known each other forever (even tho you never met) and talk on the phone all the time, mail each other gifts and letters on special occasions, etc. Like really bonded with that person and the emotional attachment is so strong that you almost don't believe you're complete strangers in real life. There's a lot more to it, but to much to say. But the bottom line.. very strong, unbreakable bond. (plus same age group, etc.) only thing is the two used to live in same state but one moved unexpectedly before anything was able to happen. Opinions/advice/comments/anything welcome plz thx!

We still keep in touch and talk but its weird now cuz he got a gf and before, we had a really special thing goin and we even talked about stuff like marriage. i want to say something but i dont want to break them up. i just want to kno if he will wait for me like he said and if him&his gf feels the same bond we once shared.

If like you said the bond is strong and you really like this person i see no reason why you shouldnt hook up with him in real life . i once met a total stranger on the internet and i went on holiday in the country where he lived i actually stayed in his house for two weeks even though we ended up not being a couple becos he'd just lost his wife and was just getting over the hurt ,and i had recently divorced my husbad too ,so the timing wasnt just rite, but given the right timing i would go for ift afterall there is no way you'l find out if he's that special person who would make you fly without wings if you dont hook up

These are all emotional questions peculiar to a particular stage in life. There can not be definite answers to such queries. Every issue is to be dealt with within its own perimeter. So no comment , except wishing you all the good luck, if you happen to meet whom you have made an intimate friend without meeting, through the net.

I met someone in real life after we spent almost a year talking online, and now we're happily married. But in saying that you still have o be carefull, arange to meet the person if you want but make sure your not alone, give yourself options and dont allow anyone to arrange a meeting somewhere were you wont be able to leave if you want to. Take chances but be smart about it

That's how I met my fiance. We chatted on the phone and online for nearly 4 months before we met in person. We've been together 2 years now and we're getting married in September.

All for meeting someone off the internet but just make sure you are safe when you do. Do the usual things to make sure your safe like meeting in public, telling a friend where you are going and who it is you are meeting.
I hope you get to meet up with your special person
Good luck and stay safe !!!

I met my husband off the internet. I knew his mom and started talking to him. By the time that we met in person I felt like I had known him for an eternity. It is a great relationship! I love him sooo much!

it has happened to me, i was in a chat room and came across this guy and we started chatting. we instantly hit it off that night and continued to talk to one another everyday for about a month. then we decided we wanted to talk to each other on the phone, that is when we became real close. that continued for another couple of months and then we finally decided to meet each other in person...first he flew here for four days, then i flew to where he lives for 11 days...it was one of the best experiences of my life...so yes, i would meet someone that i met on the internet in real life

well....you're query seems remarkably similar to a personal doubt of my own...........im contemplating myself.....should i meet this person or not .....there's always that teeny weeny voice in my head that says things may change once we meet......it may change what we currently share ......however, i would say , at the end of the day , not to go in with any expectations at all......meet the person and see how it goes,......at the most......if nothing else......you'll earn a friend ........so go for it !!! all the best ....! cheers .
