It is hard to say good-bye because we went our family and loved ones to be here with us. It is hard to say good-bye to anyone we love whether they are serving in the military or not. It hard not having them near us, it is hard to let go. We feel that we aren't in control. We need to release them into Jesus' hands and care.
I will be praying for your cousin's safety. When you see him or wrtie him thank him. It is such a honor to serve ones country, our freedom does come with a high price; but I thank the Lord everyday for those men and women who proudly serve our country.

It always hard to say goodbye to anyone you love who's going away. However, it's always been harded to say goodbye to military personel because most of the time, we're going where you can't follow and into harms way. On the bright side, it's just bootcamp so you know he'll be safe. If it makes you feel any better, it's just as hard for us to say goodbye to you also. Every time we go out to sea for that 6 month deployment and fly out to join the carrier group, I think we all die a little inside. I know I do because I know how much I'm going to miss my kids and the things they'll be doing while I'm gone.

He's your Cousin and he's going to Boot Camp. Hardly a big deal is it? Try being a wife waving goodbye to the man you love who is going to Iraq for an indefinite period.

you have to take the time to think about what he is going to go thru you obviously love him. knowing that his life is at risk puts your relationship with him in jeopardy and you just don't want that you want to be with him all day every day you wont see him for 6 months and when it all comes down to that one moment in life to say goodbye you hesitate

Because you love them, it's that simple. Look on the bright side, it's only boot camp.
