Yes, but to make it permanent you then need to soak your fingers in lime juice...

It's been done. A guy years ago sanded off his fingerprints and proceeded to commit a crime. He still left marks when the police checked for prints. When they caught up with him he was arrested since he was the only one around without fingerprints.

Mental health was the right category for this question--you need some mental health help!
Forget your fingernails and get a lawyer to help you deal with whatever has you trying to remove your fingernails. If you left fingerprints, you probably left other evidence, too.

Soak them in beef sauce and go to a junk yard with a Rottweiler guarding the place. Stick your fingers through the fence.
It'll be quick and easy.

Why do you want to do that anyway? And what of the DNA in your sweat? That's an even more positive identification.
Check the link on how to fake prints though.

yes. temporarily. whatever reasons you have i would like to suggest using gloves. they CAN HIDE your fingerprints and it is not invasive.
p.s
beware of the latex allergies and the police investigators. (just kidding) ;-)

you could but you would have to go deep and your skin would grow back.
your best bet would be to use acid or to burn them off. when tissue is damaged that bad it scars so will not grow back.
or try gloves?
