strictly speaking about safety, the UK is statistically safer. as for wire taps and all of that, you don't really know what goes on in the US or the UK (they both have spy agencies), but if you aren't doing anything wrong you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

maybe in scotland, but in England , in london, no f-ing way. london is full of militants and the leftists appease them. london is a safe harbor for terrorists.
