Be careful on the beach as there are areas of sinking sand! Look for the signs and obay them. You could visit brean market on Monday. Visit Weston super mare for the day also Burnham on sea is just a short ride away by car or bus. Maybe a day trip to Minehead and buy day visitors tickets to Butlins and take a ride on the West Somerset railway but make sure you ask for he steam trains.
Take a look at burnham on sea.com for some awesome pictures of 4x4 cars totally written off by sinking sand and then underwater when the tide comes in. The RNLI has a hovercraft based at Burnham to rescue unwary visitors from the sands at Burnham, Brean and Berrow so stick to safe beach areas!
