I don't think women are any more spiritual or religious than men. But women, by nature, are more "nurturing" (not that men aren't, but biologically it seems men are hard wired to be the provider/protectors, whereas women seem to be the nurturer/protectors). Therefore, women seem to see the need for a spiritual basis for their life and the life of their children more readily than men. Maybe this explains why more women go to church.
Just my theory. -- JWK

Do you mean religious or spiritual---there is a difference. Religion has to do with following dogma, whereas spirituality has to do with fellowship with God. I have observed that gender has nothing to do with a person's religious or spiritual nature. Education has nothing to do with it either. Environment has the most influence---how a person was raised, where they were raised and how they currently live and where they currently live, and what their employment status is and the type of work that they do. You asked a good question and I pray that this gives you some insight. Jesus loves you.

I don't know if women are more religious, but I have noticed that there are mostly women in spiritual websites, associations.
I often asked them why there were so few men in spiritual groups, and I was often replied that "women are more spiritual than men".
I don't know why... Maybe it is because women are used to expressing what they feel in their heart, more than men are used to?
All I can say now, is that thx to some spiritual women, I could freely express what I feel in my heart. Sort of unblocked.

if u generalise the thing..
then yes women are more religious..
but it has a reason..
the whole thing i will start from religion..
religion is about GOD..
its about FAITH..
about BELIEF..
and about ASSURANCE..
women need more assurance..
more security..
which they get from the faith they have in GOD
so the numb of females who believe in god is more than men do..
so we can put it like this
yes
AS MORE WOMEN BELIEVE IN GOD IT CAN BE SAID WOMEN ARE INDEED MORE RELIGIOUS..

Not necessarily so.
Perhaps you're merely surrounded by more womenfolk who HAPPEN to be more religious than the menfolk around you...
Peace be with you!

No. They are faithful in many cases but there are men who are very faithful to Jesus Christ and His commandments.
Have a good day.
