If it is a wild bird then maybe no...
If it is a bird who was bred in captivity then yes. As long as I could be sure that it would have a nice life in a specially adapted aviary. With ladders to each perch. Parrots climb alot up the sides of their cage and this is the kind on thing I am thinking of...
And I would feed it especially nice seed for the rest of its life to somehow make up for my guilty feelings!

I think the bird would probably much rather die than to suffer excruciating pain from having it's wings ripped right off.

Kill it humanely and then pot roast it with a few veggies.
I don't think it's morally right to watch a bird struggle with no wings!

impossible for numerous reasons: physique mass too heavy for it max. average working velocity no longer sufficient to create a rigidity differential to create 'bring up' rigidity structural integrity a great deal affected with the aid of fact this is a tissue from 2 species

No, because without its wings a bird will die anyway.

they use wings to balance. better to take it to the vet and let him put it down than let it suffer.
