If you remember Vietnam, then you will know that no time soon are our troops coming home. It is harsh reality that us Americans do not want to realize that their loved ones might not make it out alive from Iraq. I and some of my friends and family whole heartedly agreed that the war in Iraq was a scam to begin with and decided no one from our families will join the army. I hate to say "I told you so" to so many people now that have switched sides after the current administration has failed and lied over and over.

When the government is stable, which is hard to tell. From the outside, it doesn't look great, but we are not there. The mass media tell us what they want us to know. As for the France comment from the future poster about France, that was about the socialist government over there expecting young people to work hard and earn their pay. The young people wanted protection from being fired even if they did a bad job. I hope you never own a business and have the government tell you that you can't fired someone for be unproductive. People here can have a lot if they work hard for it. For some people it is harder, but that is life. That is what America is all about. ENTREPRENEURSHIP! You built your wealth and pass it to your family and hope they appreciate it and work hard and pass it on to their children.

That sounds like either you have someone out there or you are waiting to here about someone? If so.. take courage.. they joined the forces to keep us all safe.. (just because i am in the UK doesnt make me outside) they are doing a fab job and the loss of life is so very tragic. But lets hope they all come home safely both american and british and other countries out there and that they have served what they went out for.. PEACE.. GOD BLESS THEM ALL.. and the civilians out there who so needed our help. War makes me sick.. i could cry for all concerned..

maybe when the democrats get back in the white house, assuming they arent dictators like Bush is. I made a comment the other day that George Lucas should do "Earth Wars: Emporer Bush" next as a movie.

You asked a question that we all have been asking ourselves since it started. As many others said, it ends when their job is done. However, there is not an specific date to it and it sure does not seem as if their country will achieve stability soon enough. In my opinion, i do not think they will leaving any time soon, since 10,000 sailors are being trained in Army Camps. Many of us have relatives or friends out there and it is up to us to lie to ourselves and believe everything is okay (which is not) or face reallity.

They already are. The process of evacuating American soldiers in place of Iraqi has begun. Bush wants to be out before his term is over.

When you will go all down to the streets united (like the students in France) turning your back to Governments that guide you to death, and protest with just your voice, to show to them that you don´t like it or you don´t find it fair your country to play the "policeman" in the World.
