my friend is in love with a guy. before they met she was like a *****.sleeping with every body. but since she met him she stopped. each time they have a problem they start to hit her infront of everybody, and call her a bith and a slut out loud.
after that she comes to me each time and asks me for help.i try my best to advise her to leave him but she refuses. what shall we do to help her?

Thats terrible. The problem here though is you cant really help her until she wants to help herself. conitnue to be her friend and advise her that him hitting her and calling her names is unhealthy and that she deserve better than that. But she wont leave him until she is ready too. and be prepared she may never leave him. most women dont. My mother was with my father for 14yrs and the only reason she left him was bc he had almost killed her in front of us kids. There hasnt been a day gone by that she hasnt missed being with him. I dont understand it myself bc i would never put up with being hit but alot of women feel that love will eventaully make it better. Its not true but she has to realize that for herself no one can really truly tell her or make her see that until she wants to.

If anyone is hitting her and cursing at her, that constitutes assault and abuse. Your friend has a very serious problem of low self-esteem that is reflected in her promiscuous sexual behavior of the past. Unfortunately, if she refuses to leave the one who is abusing her, all you can do is call the police to report the assaults and to document it. Continue to encourage your friend to get personal, professional counseling as soon as possible and enlist the help of a close family member to offer her a safe place to stay before he kills her. Find the location of a women's shelter and take her to visit the shelter so she will know she does not have to stay with him. Do this today!

This is difficult. You could call the police, but it would be unlikely that she would press charges. I'm at a loss as to what to do in your situation, so the best bet would be to call a local crisis hotline and talk to someone who is trained to handle situations like this. Make sure she knows that you are there to support her and give her all the information you can so she can get away from him. Good luck to you and your friend.

Well why don't you sleep with her becauseit seems to me you lover her. If you show her that you love her more & will look after her better she will leave him

why should she leave him because of what others say?? Just tell her not to be a ***** anymore. People make mistakes.
