I know how you feel!! Stay away from the henna, just turns your hair that funny orangey color. I colored it myself for a long time, but ended upt with colors that looked kind of flat and dull. FINALLY went to a professional and now I go about every 5 weeks and have the roots touched up. A professional will custom blend a color for you and it doesn't seem that you can get that from haircolor you do yourself. Of course, there is upkeep with this. You may have to try different stylists before you find one you really like. They really need to look at your complexion and eye color to get the most flattering color for you. Ever thought of just letting it go naturally gray? I'v e seen some women who have done that and it really looks nice on SOME women. NOT FOR ME THOUGH!!!! HAHA Good luck!

Hena is bad bad bad, it makes my job hard. One thing is that is never comes out, ot may look like it has but it hasn't, I have had cases where women have used a henna based dye and wanted a perm they swore up and down that they din't use them so I took a strand of hair and put perm soulution on it... and it melted the hair. I then told them, that could have been your whole head now do you want to tell me the truth? So henna dye isn't as bad as other but, it doesn't react well to chemicals sometimes color doesn't take or it comes out all worng or worse it can melt the hair, i would sugest a semi permenat hair color very close to your that will tint the grey hairs and it will look like you have lil hi lights and when it grows out their won't be any new growth if you choose the color closets to yours

Henna is not the best way to color hair. It really fades funny, and coloring is usually the best way to go. You could us a semi permanent but make sure that there is a yellow, or a golden color added to the color you want, because white or Grey hair is missing yellow in it, so you'll have to add it, or you'll get a Not so good color0- Seek professional help

Hair loss is sooo a lot worse. It's a lot simpler and less expensive to dye your hair if you are now not pleased with the grey. Plus many men and women honestly appear relatively cool with a head of grey. I've visible the untimely hair loss and it ain't lovely.

Use a deep conditioner on your hair once a week for several weeks. Then dye your hair and continue to use a color-safe conditioner. If the gray is not too bad use a semi-permanent color, it won't cause as much damage.

Use a semi permanent dye on your hair but I am afraid you will need for it to grow completely out and then dye it or you will damage your hair even more

try a semi or demi permanent color(if the henna is real henna, no color will work, the henna coats the hair and does not let the color penetrate)
