Go to font options and its called subscript.... and the above one is called superscript....

You can highlight the 2, then right click and choose font. You then select subscript. You may then have do the same and deselect subscript to get the next bit of typing back to normal size. If you're stusk type subscript into Help.

First highlight the 2, then click Format -> Font. In the "Effects" box on the "Font" tab, click "Subscript". Voila!

I will tell u the shortcut
To make a word superscript
first select the word, and then press the 'Ctrl' + 'shift' + '+' that is ctrl + shift + the Plus key combination.
To make a word subscript
First select the word, and then press the 'Ctrl' + '+' that is ctrl + the Plus key combination.

I think it's insert
then character
and then SUBscript, not superscript
superscript is for exponents

Those answers about sub-scripting fonts are correct. But might I suggest first you look for those missing vowels.
