You're mixing up a couple of different things.
The Aztec Sunstone predicts nothing specific. The current age, according to the Sunstone, is 4 Ollin (Earthquake) and it's the 5th age so far and should end in earthquakes. That's all it says.
The Mayan Long Count Calendar rolls over from 12 Baktuns to 13 Baktuns (like our calendar going from 1999 to 2000, except that a Baktun is 396 years long) on 12-21-2012. Some people have decided that the calendar "ends" that day, which isn't true. It can go on for at least 7 more Baktuns, or around 3,000 years.
However, something IS happening on 12-21-2012--it's a grand astronomical alignment between the rising sun and the Milky Way. This alignment only happens every 26,000 years and signifies the beginning of a new world age. It does NOT mean the end of this age...actually this one's already over and has been for years.
