there are so many in market nowadays. anne french, veet to name a few.
my grandma used to boast about a wonderful home remedy which im sharing.
bring sugar to boil with little water until it gets sticky, mix lime juice or citrus oil. remove from oven and add crude sugar granules and apply on body. scrub all over ur body in circular motions for sometime. do this diligently before shower.
u may add: camphor powder to the solution

veet is definitely better than anne french. anne french leaves a very acidic smell later on. and veet is gentler.
