transport to toronto zoo from kitchener?

want to know if i can get a bus or train from kitchener ontario to the toronto zoo

You can take either the bus or the train to downtown Toronto and then take TTC to the zoo.

The train service from KW to TO sucks. The Greyhound is cheaper and runs more frequently. Make sure you don't take the bus that goes through Guelph as it adds another hour to the trip. You can find out times here http://www.greyhound.ca/en/.

If a bunch of you are going then it may be more economical to rent a car for the day.

Not sure how you would get from Kitchener to Toronto by bus or train, but once you do if you are coming into downtown Toronto-you can take the subway from Union station all the way to Kennedy Station then take the Rapid Transit train to Scarborough Town Centre then get a bus from there to the Zoo. Should take you about 1 hr and 15 minutes travel time. Another easier option but a bit more expensive is take the Go Bus from Yorkdale mall east to Scarborough Town Centre then get the transit bus to the Zoo. im from kitchener, ive been to the zoo, when you get off at the bus station in to, theyll tell you what bus to take to get there, youll really like it. have fun
