The soul has 'mass'.. ie it weights a certain amount.
Unlike animals, - like dogs, they've weighed a person at the exact moment of death. And accounting for all aspects, they've determined that only human bodies loose like a portion of an ounce when they die.

There has to be equilibrium for each and everything in this world.
For Fire there is water, for Height there is depth for protons you have electrons, for men there are women etc etc...
One the biggest issue for equlibrium is the relation between "DEEDS" & "RECOMPENSE"...
Look for yourself, every action that yuo do in this world has to have a reaction.
So every GOOD or BAD Deed you do if it goes un accounted then there would be no morality in this world, no law in this world, no point in doing good, no point o refrain from evil things, in other words if the belief that " All my actions will be weighed and accoutned on the Day of Judgement" is lost or negated, Man will become like an animal.
What about hitler? he killed millions of people. So should he get any punishment???
The maximum punishment the US government coudl give him was to execute him. Agreed?
But that suffices only 1 life out a million people. What about the rest???
Does that mean, he enjoyed everything and he left this world???
No he will be accoutned and burnt in hell (if he did not repent) a million times. And GOD has power over everything.
Therefore, for proper human nature and survival, the belief in the hereafter is a MUST and is a REALITY.
This is the ISLAMIC perception about the hereafter.
(We all are responsible for our deeds, there will not be any saviour to save us from hell other than our own deeds)

"But none shall perish for Giggles created life and nothing Giggles creates is a mistake nor is it something to torment. So shall all life be not tormented but instead be cleansed by the Holy light of the Star of the Fairies and this shall empty all evils in thine souls and what shall leave this shall be only the love and joy and peaceful way that lives in even the most wicked of men." When my brother died at the age of 32, I was devastated. After the funeral, I came home and felt there was some unfinished business between us. To make a long story short, I spoke out loud to him on the outside chance he could hear me. Keep in mind that I was feeling mighty foolish; but I did it anyway. I poured my heart out to him and ended my thoughts, with what I hoped wasn’t an one-sided conversation, by saying, “Please check on our baby brother [because he couldn’t attend the funeral] in Germany; I am worried about him.”
Ten minutes later, I received a mysterious call from a gentleman I hardly knew. He lived in the same state as I did and I rarely heard from him...so the fact he called me from Germany was miraculous in and of itself. This man does not possess a poetic bone in his body; but before I could respond , he began to speak of truly lovely things. He said he was standing outside a beautiful garden with flowers of every color and description. Colors were present that he had never seen before.
He continued to expound into a fifteen minute description of truly wondrous things…and then stopped abruptly with, “I don’t know what got into me, why I called you, or the fact I found your phone number in my pocket. I don’t remember putting it there. I am embarrassed.” Then he hung up…and I hadn’t uttered more than a squeaky “Hello” when I first picked up the phone. I haven’t heard from him since that time.
My brother’s death gave me Life…for I knew with certainty that Life continues after someone passes. I learned that Love continues into eternity. We change from a physical form into a spiritual one. This launched me into more productive things. He is still with me.
Be alert to signs that your loved one is near. My brother dedicated a song to me that only we knew about. I didn’t hear this song played on the radio for many, many years. All of a sudden, every time I turned on my radio, this song would be playing. I knew he was with me. I now understand the beauty of the Life/Death/ Life process…and it is glorious, indeed.

There is no credible evidence of an after life whatsoever. This is not surprising since there is no after life.

It doesn't exist. When you die you just die. No need to console yourself with the fantasy of living after death. Admit your mortality. Only then shall you be enlightened.
