This is what their merciful, peace loving god (the Golden Calf) tell them to do:

(Joshua 6:20-21)

Joshua son of Nun wished to enter Palestine with his people. So he encamped around the city of Jericho and commanded the people to blow their horns. "As soon as the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people raised a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. Then they utterly destroyed all in the city, both men and women, young and old, oxen, sheep, and asses, with the edge of the sword "

"They warred against Midian, as YAHWEH commanded Moses, and killed every male. They killed the kings of Midian ... And the people of Israel took captive the women of Midian and their little ones; and they took as booty all their cattle, their flocks, and all their goods. All their cities in the places where they dwelt, and all their encampments, they burned with fire." (Numbers 31:7)

"Moses was enraged with the officers of the army ... ‘So you spared the women! ... Kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has had sexual intercourse with a man, but keep the virgins for yourselves ... divide them up evenly.'" (Numbers 31:15)

"And Joshua mowed down Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword. And YAHWEH said to Moses, 'Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. A hand upon the banner of YAHWEH! YAHWEH will be at war with Amalek for all generations.'" (Exodus 17:13)

"Thus says YAHWEH of hosts, 'I will punish what Amalek did to Israel in opposing them on the way, when they came up out of Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.'"
And Saul came to the city of Amalek, and lay in wait in the valley. And Saul said to the Kenites, "Go, depart, go down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them." ... So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites. And Saul defeated the Amalekites ... and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword ... And Saul said to Samuel, "I have obeyed the voice of YAHWEH, I have gone on the mission on which YAHWEH sent me, I have brought Agag the king of Amalek , and I have utterly destroyed the Amalekites." (1 Samuel 15:2, 20)

"Now David and his men went up, and made raids upon the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites ... And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, but took away the sheep, the oxen, the asses, the camels, and the garments, and came back to Achish ... And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, thinking, "Lest they should tell about us, and say, 'So David has done.'" Such was his custom all the while he dwelt in the country of the Philistines." (1 Samuel 27:8)

"For YAHWEH’S indignation is against all the nations, And His wrath against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to slaughter." (Isaiah 34:2)

"The people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of YAHWEH; and YAHWEH gave them into the hands of the Midianites seven years ... because of the Midianites the people of Israel hid in caves and holes in the ground." (Judges 6:1)
Genesis 35:5
The terror of God was upon the cities that were round about them.

Exodus 23:27
I will send my fear before thee.

Deuteronomy 2:25
This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.

Deuteronomy 4:34
... by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors....

Judges 16:27-30
Now the house was full of men and women ... about three thousand men and women.... And Samson called unto the LORD, and said ... strengthen me ... that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines.... And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood..... And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Luke 19:27 bring those that would not have me reign over them and slay them before me

As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you

Deuteronomy 20:10-14

1 Samuel 15:2-4
Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ***.
Numbers 31:17-18 "Now kill all the boys [innocent kids]. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man."
Numbers 31:35-40 "[From the captives of war] 32,000 women who had never slept with a man.......of which the tribute for the LORD was 32 [among them were virgin girls]."

Same question being asked for many thousands of years. People have been killing each other for longer than there is history. What is happening now is mild compared to most of history. Europe used to line up in fields and murder each other as a spectator sport. They called it war but there were many battles that had its audiences to cheer them on. Greeks, Romans, Turks and countless others. Africa has been at was constantly for thousands of years. A few lives here and there is nothing new at all. If you want the truth but most don't, there is less killing of peoples in wars now than in most of the past. Actually the world is more at peace now then most of the time in the past. Hard to believe I know but it is true. The difference is that everything that happens any place in the world can be seen by all people at any place and any time. Blaming the Jews or the Islams or any other group only adds to the problems. When it comes down to the real problem then we all have to share in part of the blame. I have no answer to how to stop people from killing each other. It appears no one else has the answer either.

Who are the "bad Jews" that you are referring to? Israel gave Lebanon everything she supposedly wanted in the name of peace. The latest Israeli-Lebanese confrontation was initiated by Hezbollah...not Israel. Killing and war is always a terrible thing. However, in this case, the State of Israel is defending itself from fanatical terrorists. Rather than `hating bad Jews', your time would be better spent being repulsed & denouncing the terrorism being carried out "in the name of Allah".

Always kill people? I don't here about Jews flying planes into skyscrapers, I don't here about Jews strapping on bombs and killing people, I don't here about Jews sawing peoples heads off. They only want to survive and be left alone and if they are left alone they wont have to strike out at their enemies.

Yeah, I hate that faith that believes in killing for God. God doesnt want people to kill each other. Stop saying it was God that told to you to kill that person, you did because their sick and twisted - but no names here - right !

Go watch the Nick Berg Beheading Video and tell me if that was done by a religion of faith & peace ! Go google the name !!!!

It is very rude to say that. Jews are small minority,,,,surrounded by such countries, who have given shelter to terror organization like ha mas and Hezbollah, and Iran so openly says that it wants to wipe out Israel from map. If they have such views, what do you expect from Israel, to sit quietly or to defend itself. If Israel will not fight terrorist, they will finish Israel. If today Lebanon Civilians are suffering, it is mistake of Lebanon government. If they give shelter to people who burn others houses, they themselves will also suffer from burns.........just to hate Jews blindly is no intelligence

They're just people. What you hate are bad PEOPLE who kill people. Don't use their religion as an explanation or a scapegoat for current problems. No one is inherently evil.
