A man - nothing more. And Judaism predates Christianity by 1300+ years.

Judaism has been around for about 4,000 years, while Christianity only 2,000.

The jews back in the time of Jesus' day, would have thought him either the Messiah, or just a man, creating a sect., for philosophical purposes.

But Jews of today, either think of him as a teacher, or as the tool used by others to oppress them and kill them.

Judaism is older and no they don't believe in Jesus as god OR a prophet.
Muslims however do believe Jesus was a prophet of God.

In Judaism, Jesus is not the son of G-d, nor the Messiah, nor a prophet, nor a rabbi. Thus, he is essentially of no importance.

Judaism is much older than Christianity predating it by aprox 1300 years or so.
