Give him a blindfold, a cigarette, and a fifth of whiskey. Snip quickly & run like hell.

Surprise is the most important aspect of home surgery, whether vetrinary or paediatric, so choose your moment. For this procedure, a premium brand branch cutter is the implement of choice, though a pair of seamstresses scissors are a solid second. You'll also need a soup spoon and a lassoo made of cotton. Add a sleeping pill to its evening meal, and wait half an hour. Heat implement in boiling water to kill the germs and cauterise the incision, and then approach the tom from the rear when the drugs have taken effect. Bind the fron paws together by placing a sock over them and wrapping it in several layers of electrical tape. Lift Toms hind leg and place half the teste sac in the blade. Hold the spoon in the other hand. This is where dexterity is big bonus. In one fluid moment, snip, spoon and lassoo the balls and retreat to a safe distance. Time and the sun will finish the procedure for you, just sprinkle with salt every so often.
Good luck.

Oh yes, advice all right. GET IT TO THE VET FOR THAT! DON'T DO IT YOURSELF! That's a living being, it can feel pain, and it is cruel to do that without anaesthesia - and I really advise against trying to administer any of _that_ to a cat - it can have unpredictable effects, up to and including killing the cat.
Go to the VET and ask him/her to do it. It takes them two hours or so, it is not likely to cost much, and you'll know the work is done without risking your pet's life.
do it yourself indeed! Some people have no sense of mercy!

No joke-my dad actually did the rubber band thing to a male cat of mine. The cat lived to be 20 years old. Better get a pair of long leather gloves if you try it though.
Very funny answer Sun M.

DON'T, it should be done by someone who is trained to do it.
someone who can give the animal drugs so it won't feel anything, and who can deal with any complications that may arise
if U thinking about doing it Ur self maybe U shouldn't have one, the cats health and well being should come above the cost

Don't do it. You'll ruin his life. You give him the chop and he'll stop staying out all night chasing women, hunting, fighting and howling. All the other neighbourhood cats will treat him with disdain because he'll be neither here nor there, a non-entity in the cat world. All he'll want to do is sleep, purr, dribble and eat. Boring.

What do you say we practice on you first? One nad at a time, so we can try two different ways and see what works best.
I'd be happy to do this for you. I have lots of rusty tools in the garage.

Yes. Get a sterile room and operating table, some anesthetic and a legal veterinarian cert. Your local vet might qualify.

I've heard an old method used to be to tie a tight rubber band around your cats jewels and let them fall of on their own due to lack of blood. Never done it, but heard of it before. you obvioulsy shouldn't just hack off his junk though, thats cruel.
