First you need a style that you can do at home after you get out of the salon. If you have the $$ get yourself a ceramic flat iron (the thin ones are easier to handle) and make sure your hair is totally dry before you straighten or it will curl up again. The cut really doesn't matter, unless you want an "A" line cut. (Short in back and longer in the front.) Then you can straighten the front and let the back go curly. Its easy and looks really cool, on all types of hair. You could ask someone with hair you like and see where they get their hair done. Good Luck!!

I have very curly hair as well, and I love it. I understand the frustration of not really having a trendy hair cut, as the curls take over any cut you have. If you are unhappy with your curly hair, look into the Japanese straightening process (which is costly), and you won't have to worry about it. If you cannot afford that, try relaxing it, and then get a trendy cut.

How curly? I think longer curly hair looks allot better then short curly hair.. You should be proud of it! Curly hair is beautiful! You could always use a hair straightener for a day to day change, but I would say keep it long.

Want my honest answer? Accept your hair. Dont mess with it, dont straighten it. We are all unique, and every hair type can look good. I figured out in my 20's that my hair is just a part of me, learn to love it. If you are female i suggest growing it long. Many women would KILL to have long cascading waves of hair. The curling iron industry is a billion dollar business. There's a reason for that.

u can use straightning shamppos or try hair straightner, well only if u don't like curly hair through my point of view they r 2 good (even i hav curly hair)

if ud rather just have straight hair just try a straightener.. my friend lindsay use to have REAL curly hair but i todl her to get a straighter and she has straight hair now...it wrked for her..
