That is a good question.Because we know Jesus was born sinless and therefore had no sins to repent for.
Jesus' baptism was a symbol of him presenting himself to do the will of his Father.Jesus was a carpenter, but now the time had come for him to begin his ministry that God sent him to earth to perform.
Jehovah accepted and acknowledged this presentation of His Son,anointing him with holy spirit and saying,"You are my Son,the beloved,I have approved you."Mr.1:9-11

Jesus had to be. why?

Jesus was here at what age? Mosaic age. He lived under the Law of Moses. Jesus did not do anything miraculous until when? AFTER He was baptized. not before. It would suggest, He received His powers from the Baptism John The Baptist spoke of. John The baptist did not baptize anyone after Jesus. Jesus baptized with the Holy Spirit. Jesus set the example for baptism by The Holy spirit for the age to come. What age is that? The Christian age. Act's Ch.2. It became Christian age at that point.
The Church was always described in future tense before Acts. It is always described in the present tense after Acts. His Kingdom was being setup in Acts, and still being built today.

It was to fulfill the word. In Matthew 3:15 Jesus says to John who is asking why Jesus needs to be baptized, "It should be done, for we must carry out all that God requires". Jesus was setting an example too. Remember, he was born in a human body.

Many church homes educate that he's 3 in a unmarried to get faraway from the theory that the trinity ought to pass against the first commandment that states God Is One. Jesus isn't the daddy. The holy spirit is the spirit of the daddy. Jesus submitted completly to the choose of God to that end became one with the spirit of God(the holy spirit) He became one with God yet replaced into under no circumstances the author Father God. those who placed as a lot as God and the Holy spirit can change into one with Jesus. Is it no longer written that Christ is got here across from interior of? the dominion of God is interior of you,and the body is the temple of the residing God? to stroll with Jesus and to be a channel for divine love is to be born back of the spirit. that's being touched by the holy spirit and has no longer something to do with rituals and dogma. that is a non secular baptism extremely than a actual baptism.

Even every child has to be told who his father is by the mother. That being so, Jesus was confirmed by the ritual conducted by John, as told in the Bible. After all, these are tales told by people who were never questioned; but now the time has changed that people would not accept anything for granted without questioning.

Any one born in human flesh and blood, need to follow the ways of men.The term 'son of God' should not be understood literally. It refers to the spirit or the soul within. The soul comes from God. A sinless soul leaps backs to God, from where he came, after leaving the body.

Jesus was aware of this reality. He said "Give unto Ceaser, that which is Ceasar's ; Give unto God, that which is God's"

I don't think he needed to be baptised by John. I think that he needed to be baptised by the Holy Spirit. And he was. John's baptism was a symbol, like Communion is just a symbol. He said to do it, but it's just a symbol done in obedience.
