I think many people care about the wars in the Middle East. The problem is that most people can only seem to blame one side for these conflicts.

I e-mailed Tony Blair through Oxfam today, trust me we do care.
The UK and the US helped to create Israel as a safe haven after the Second World War - they have constantly protected it and armed it to the teeth with top of the range military technology. That's why they back Israel because they have to stand by decisions of the past.
I'm horrified by this war - Israel's tactics are stupid, you cannot fight a terrorist organisation because it's like a hydra, you cut off one head (kill one terrorist) and three will take it's place because they will see him as a martyr.
Hezbollah have been hiding strategic positions in civillian areas which means all you do by fighting these organisations is push more people into poverty and stir up more hatred against you.
The only way to end this is through some diplomatic arrangement. It appears to have been successful in Northern Ireland.

First of all, most Americans do care about Lebanon. We want to see it enjoy peace, prosperity, and freedom for all its people.
Here is the problem:
The Lebanese people have chosen to elect members of a radical Islamist terrorits group, Hezbollah, to its government. Hezbollah has pledged itself to the destruction of Israel. Israel is like a little brother to the United States, we are not going to let it be destroyed by anyone.
Hezbollah crossed over into Israel and killed Israeli troops. Israel is making Hezbollah pay a price for that. Plain and simple, that's what is happening. Anyone who attacks Israel or who gives protection to groups like Hezbollah must expect to pay a price for that aggression.
I feel badly for peace-loving Lebanese people, especially children. But ultimately, the only way to save Lebanon is for the Lebanese to rid itself of the cancer of Hezbollah.
There will be no peace in Lebanon so long as groups like Hezbollah exist there.

The UK and the rest of the world are against this. However the US support Israel because of the huge Jewish influence they have there due too voters. The US have therefore stopped the UN taking action, and let the israelies destroy Lebanon.

The US and UK are completely on the Israeli side with supply of weapons, money, propoganda, diplomatic cover etc
If the Arabs and muslims get rid of the the dictators/traitors running their countries, then they may have a chance.

nicely confident i'd have the pinnacle lighting fixtures lifted and a few dents bumped off and slightly weight bumped off in step with probability it became from eating each and all of the bugs stepping into the time of the radiator??? My carpet is high quality, the seat is slightly baggy greater helpful get that fixed too. WOW in step with probability I would desire to easily turn me in for a greater moderen style????

Hezzbolla is operating out of Lebenon, and they started this war. Why is it the job of the United States to stop it? Why doesn't the legitimate government in Lebenon stop their people from fighting?

Lets have a heated debate. If we can't get Israel to stop, why not try to get Hezbollah to stop killing people in Israel? We could appeal to their backers Syria and Iran. After all people are getting killed on both sides but you seem to have omitted this in your analysis.

I think people do care, it is the world rulers that dont care. I dont understand why the Tony Blair and George Bush dont put a stop to this, they should listen to their people. Our countries only care if it concerns them, it is very selfish.
