Turn on the AC first of all, then sitt back and watch a good movie with them, goes out side if it's too hot there would not be healthy for you or your children. I like your question, what to do. Well it's really all up to you, be creative, your kids will always remember a creative Idea from you versious something would normally would say to do.

Have fun with your kids, and hope the hot duration goes away very soon!

Movies, flea markets... if you go out early (or late) enough, you can still enjoy the park. Swimming's nice... but maybe an actual swim park with slides? There may be a zoo around. Have activities at home - painting, coloring, etc. Have a dance fest, where you play all kinds of wacky kid songs and the four of you dance wildly in the living room. Build forts out of blankets and cardboard boxes. Teach them how to do headstands (this alone could eat up hours). Let them help you make lunch/ cook. There's a thousand things to do. Just ask them what they want to do.

Picnics! Are there museums and stuff near you! Cinema! The park! The sleeping game is good.... you sleep and they go and play a game! The beach (if you're near the coast)!
